# About

**HedgeTools** is a Python plugin for [QGIS](https://www.qgis.org/) that enables users to create and analyze hedge objects derived from polygon geometries.
The plugin is designed to:

- let users adopt point of views that match their own definitions of hedges
- compute a wide range of metrics describing both individual hedge and hedge networks

HedgeTools was developed by [INRAE](https://www.inrae.fr/) in collaboration with [INP Toulouse](https://www.inp-toulouse.fr/fr/index.html), through the [Dynafor](https://www.dynafor.fr/) laboratory.
